Tea time

August is always boring. After 2 weeks of practice, I like to just take a Friday to drink tea at a friend's house and be forced to watch the Hannah Montana movie. Actually, I've never done that until today. Haha. What a rediculous movie, though.

Sorry my blog posts are lame. :D

Librarys & legos

Today, me and my friend Brittany went to the library on the way to Hayley's house. And immediatley, as immature as B and I are, we went straight to the kids section. The silence is intimidating, but that didn't stop us from goofing off. We started by making fun of books, which is always fun, no matter how biased and horrible you feel. Then, we moved on to playing with legos. I looked around, and started to build a lego tower. This was no ordinary tower. This adorable little kid, Aden, who was about 3, came up and started talking about the Sears tower. And you know how little kids talk;

"And then, I-I-I-I-I, I once-once, the Sears tower, I once, and then it, it's like-like-like a MILLION times taller than-than this, and we went, I-I-I, once I, and we went to the top!" Aden practically screams. It's ear-piercing in the silence.

Me and Brittany exchange a glance.
"Dude, I have no idea what you just said." Brittany says.
Aden giggles and skips away.

Yeah. That's right.

Aaand, of course, I tried to take it down, so I grabbed the bottom of the tower. BAD IDEA! As I intelligently grabbed the last few legos of the tower, the WHOLE thing fell down and smashed against the table and made the loudest, most raucous crash. Everyone turned and looked at us and started laughing. It was embarrasing, but incredibly funny.

Aden sprinted over moments after it fell. "I'LL HELP YOU!" he yelled and scurried to pick them up. "THERE'S SOME IN THE BATHROOM!" he kept yelling, and ran in the bathroom to find the legos.

We're like, Dude, we're in a library! And little Aden's dad finally yelled at him for yelling. (Ironic, eh?)

Yep. Being a kid is fun :)

In a blue funk

Ech, it's raining out. Everyone tries to pretend like they love rain and they think it's beautiful and stuff. To be honest, I don't really like it. I hate to be the pessimist (spelling?) but I'd rather have sun than rain; you can't do anything in rain, and it's uncomfortable and stuff. I only like it when it's absolutely pouring; then it's fun when you're with a group of people. Otherwise, it's annoying to me, because you could be having a sunny day! It just hasn't been a very sunny summer. Well, I'm done being the voice of doom now.

School's starting soon, and I'm going to be a nerdy little freshman. Yikes. Only four years of school left and then I go to college. Oh man, where does the time go? I honestly don't even REMEMBER 8th grade; that was the fastest year ever. I'm just freaky nervous for highschool even though I probably shouldn't be. I'll be on varsity swimming, which will either a) help me and get me closer with the upper classmen or b) make everyone on JV hate me. Heh. I need to stop freaking out about it. Deep breath, Alicia. OH I just can't wait for HS swimming.

Lately, I've been obsessed with the 19th century. I've been re-reading Emma and Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen from my college course I took during the school year, and what's worse is I enjoy it. Over the course of about 2 days, I've decided that I'm going to major in art, and minor in english, and become a college professor. I've also been totally enamored with the Renaissance. I watched a whole show about Jupiter on the History Channel today and I liked it. I fell asleep in the middle though. Wow, I need to immature.

Gahh my blog is boring.
WHY AM I SO PESSIMISTIC?!
Aiight, I'm out.

Taking a chance?

I'm watching Ghost Hunters, terrified, curled up on the couch. People ask me why I watch it even though it scares me so much, but it's SO good! :) Me and my mom don't miss a single week of it. I like how funny Steve and Tango are and how they make all those bets...ahh never mind, I probably shouldn't think out loud; if you watch Ghost Hunters, you're probably just as crazy as I am.

After work today, I walked back to my mom's store and she had gotten her hair cut from the hair salon right next door. She said that the girl that did her hair who usually does my hair, had an opening at 3, and it was 3:05, so I booked it down there and got my hair cut. (Great story, huh? >.<) My mom was so worried because I usually go totally dramatic and crazy whenever I get my hair done, but it actually looks super cute!

All I got really, was bangs and a couple layers. I like it :) Teddi, my stupid dog, ruined the pictures though. You see that explosion of hair? Yeah, that's her tail. Dumb rat :)

Nothing really happened that's worth writing about today besides that. Lol, G2's started up though, so I'm excited!

Well, I must go, I have to get up early for practice tomorrow.
Lame.

Wow, I can't keep this thing updated.

I'm watching America's Next Top Model and it's an old one, (I don't know what cycle), but they're in Tokyo and I'M SO JEALOUS! I want to be in Tokyo learning about fashion! I love Tokyo street fashion; it's so edgy/princess or schoolgirl/innocent. It's not sophisticated at all; it's more like your dressing up yourself as a doll. Or an anime girl.

I absolutely fell in love with it. I wish I was there. That's it, I'm moving. For all reasons is Japan my favorite place in the world, besides the fact that I'd lose my U.S. citizenship.

Oh, well I must go. I shall be back soon, I promise! I WILL keep up with this blog whether I like it or not!

New pictures

A couple new pictures :) They aren't "new" but they're new on RB. I've been so out of shape now that swim is over... and it's only been one day :D I'm totally pathetic.

I really would like to start one of those fashion blogs, but I'm absolutley totally out of style when it comes to that. My style of fashion isn't "high fashion" at all... I call it "weird artist". I wish I was more in touch with the things like Gucci and things like that... But yeah, maybe I should just stick to being an artist/photographer. :/

Gahh. I only have 2 months left as a middle schooler, then I become a wierd little freshman. :/

Time's going by way too fast.

Until next time,
Alicia

It's been awhile, hasn't it?

It's been quite a while since I've updated my blog, and I think that's the reason why no one reads it. ^_^ I have such problems getting things going, like keeping a blog or even a diary! It's a little wierd.

I was reading the blog entries from before, and I was thinking, Wow, I was so young! I said some of the stupidest sounding things. I used to be such an arrogant, foolish little kid (even though it was only like, last year). I've actually grown up a lot since then.

But anyway, I guess I should tell you what's happened since then, even though probably no one reads this ever due to my laziness. I got a state cut in my 100 fly, and I'm going to the state meet next weekend. Practices have been strenuous, but it's pretty much worth it. I've been totally obsessed with photography. The other day, my mom, my sister, and I were driving to my friend's house to drop me off there for the day, and a train came by, so we had to stop and wait. For the first time ever, I actually had my camera with me, so I got out of the car and took pictures of the graffiti (spelling?) going by.

Haha ^3^ I've also love photoshopping, and taking really long naps :D But yes, so anyway, I have to be at practice in 20 minutes, so I'll be back around soon with a less lame blog entry than this. :)

Bye,
Alicia
